meaning n fulfillment in yr job

Most people want meaning and fulfillment in their work, not just a 9:-5: job that pays the bills. If your heart is longing for a new career, read these tips and put them into action!

1. Be happy with who you are where you are right now. Practice feeling as though you are in your ideal work wherever you are right now. Don't wait to be happy or accept yourself "until... ' you lose he weight, meet the right partner, get the great job. The time is NOW.

2. Practice living your life purpose right now. What are the values you live by, no matter where you go? Express those!

3. Identify your important past accomplishments, starting from your earliest memories. What's important about them today?

4. Identify your unique skills and abilities and favorite activities. Make a list- brag on yourself! Ask your friends what they see as your skills and abilities. Notice what you do easily. What do others ask you to do?

5. Focus on what excites you, what you feel passionate about. What do you want to share with others? What is your mission?

6. Synthesize and converge. Bring together 3, 4, and 5 above to develop some possibilities for your ideal work.

7. Research the possibilities. Talk to people who do similar work or go on the internet. See if you can find a unique niche for yourself.

8. Create positive affirmations and practice visualizations to attract the people and resources you need. Spend time with these every day."It is wonderful to be using all my talents and abilities in my ideal career position! I am confident I earn a wonderful living doing work and service that is important to me."

9. Develop a plan for manifesting your ideal life work. What are the steps you need to take? Affirm AND take action. Years ago I affirmed that I was an international workshop leader. Before that happened, I was busy leading local workshops and improving my skills.

10. Be patient! It's true you can "do what you love and the money will follow," but if you ask people who are making a good living at what they love, they will usually tell you it took a lot of hard work and time.
