These words by W. Russell Bowie give every one of us hope. You and I, average people that we are, with our virtues and faith, can make this world sweet and steadfast. Whatever else our national leaders can concoct, we have the power - each and every one of us - to save the world.

That's a pretty humbling thought, to hold so much power. Let's use it wisely.
